The Collective showed work at the Around the Coyote Arts Festival in Wicker Park (February 5-8 2004 exhibit). Exhibiting artists: paintings and sketches by E.K. Buckley, welded sculpture by Thom Hughes, jewelry rewired from industry by Melissa Kolbusz [WIRED], landscape paintings by David Moskow, sculpture and polaroid transfers by Ned Broderick, paintings by Dave Pearson, paintings by David DeCastro, color photographs by Sarah Beckstrom, and special guest, painter K.C. Welsh who debuted hand-beaded skulls. Special thanks to David DeCastro for letting us use his studio, Studio #341 in the Flat Iron Arts Building, 1579 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL. Thanks to Melissa for hosting the event, and many thanks to K.C. for helping us with installing and hosting. We had a fine time at the festival and renewed contacts with artists we haven't seen for a while, including painter Zsofia Otvos, who will show with us in March.
